Dive beneath the waters that hold ancient Hawaiian history at Waimea Bay.
north shore's treasure:
Waimea Valley and Bay are dear to our hearts because of the rich history they hold. In ancient times, it was given to the Kahuna Nui (highest priests) and although the number of inhabitants is unknown, it was a large settlement that exemplified Polynesians managing their natural resources from the mountains to the sea.
It is now most well known for its giant waves during the North Shore's winter surf season, but what most people may not know is that it is also home to protected fish and other marine life. In our Spring and Summer months, Waimea Bay holds pristine snorkeling conditions for everyone to enjoy.
Join us on an informative coastal cruise from Hale'iwa Harbor to Waimea Bay, where we will swim among the native fish, explore tunnels, and jump from rock islands! Let us take you away from the crowds, showing you a different side of this famous bay.
